Universal life insurance: Changes to Strategy managed accounts

Offered as part of the Universal life investment options, the Strategy managed accounts are linked to the performance of the SSQ Strategy GIFs. On June 30, 2016, changes will be made to the composition of these designated funds in order to ensure optimal diversification and adapt to current market conditions. Please note that these changes will have no impact on the guaranteed annual fees of Strategy managed accounts and that the objectives, target clientele and risk profile of each account will remain the same. Therefore, no communication will be made to clients who have sums invested in the Strategy managed accounts.

Main changes made to SSQ Strategy GIFs:

• Revision of the fixed-income portion: Optimum Asset Management and Fiera Capital now equally share the management mandate of the "universe" bonds
• Minor modifications to manager and asset class allocations
