Improvements to investment products and services
SSQ is proud to present the latest improvements to our investment products effective November 9, 2015.
We are also updating our practices thanks to a new state-of-the-art management system for our investment products that will allow us to continue to grow our products and improve our service. We are positioning ourselves to better serve you!
WHAT’S NEW
- New product and fund names
- Four (4) new funds
- Changes to Strategy and Celestia portfolio funds
- Improvements to the Enhanced guarantee (75/100)
- Automatic increase in trailer commission at the end of the deferred sales charge schedule
- New estate planning options
OTHER IMPROVEMENTS AND IMPORTANT CHANGES
SSQ Financial Group has chosen a new system to manage the complete administration of our investment products that will, among other things, enable us to step up our FundSERV services. This change will ensure that we are well positioned to continue to grow our products and improve our service. Moving to a leading, specialized solution means that we are better aligning our practices to industry standards. This transition does bring about certain changes:
- Increased FundSERV service level and presence on the FUNDcom client account inquiry website
- New fund names and codes
- Changes to how management and guarantee fees are collected
- Other product and administrative changes
- Transition to the new management system on November 7, 2015

COMMUNICATIONS WITH CONTRACTHOLDERS AND DOCUMENTATION
On October 8, 2015, a detailed notice will be mailed to all investors. These documents are available on our reference website.
Many documents will be updated, including the Information Folder and Contract and the application forms. The new documents must be used as of November 9, 2015. You will receive an email in October as soon as the documents become available so that you may place your order using the order form.
