PREVIOUS UNIVERSAL LIFE PRODUCT (UL INVESTMENT): New level T100 cost of insurance option with increasing death benefit now available to in-force policies
We would like to remind you that policyowners that hold a UL Investment policy (previous universal life product) now have the privilege to change their cost of insurance to a level T100 option with an increasing death benefit. It is therefore possible to change from a YRT, YRT 85/20 or T20-YRT cost of insurance to a level T100 cost of insurance, within the same product, by completing the “Policy change without evidence of insurability” (FIND0116A) form. You must also submit an in-force universal life illustration along with the request. To obtain an in-force universal life illustration, please contact your sales office.
Please note that UL Investment is no longer available for new sales and it is not possible to add a level T100 cost of insurance coverage to an existing policy; only the option to change the cost of insurance type is available.
NEW INSURANCE APPLICATION AND NEW POLICY CHANGE WITHOUT EVIDENCE OF INSURABILITY FORM
A new version 2015-02 of the insurance application (FIND0035A) and a new version of the policy change without evidence of insurability (FIND0116A) form are available. A few updates have been made to these forms; however, you may continue using the previous versions (2014-10).
For more information regarding these changes, please contact your SSQ representative.
