WHY INVEST IN THIS FUND?
- To take advantage of a proven investment philosophy based on the three main principles below:
- It is better to have a thorough understanding of a limited environment than to achieve diversification through a vast array of equities; cautious equity selection may allow for better returns and reduce investment risks.
- A long-term investment will obtain a higher return. Investments in quality companies perform better over time.
- Over the long term, global trends have a considerable impact on investments and are important factors to consider in the positioning and the attraction of capital. The resulting growth in cash is the main reason why share prices do better in the long term.
- To benefit from the expertise of a management team that specializes in global equity portfolios and that is made up of dedicated managers with a stake in the firm.
- The team's proactive philosophy consists of building a portfolio of 25 to 30 hand-picked stocks from at least five different sectors, while following the principle that each new purchase must be funded by the sale of an existing holding. This approach requires the management team to focus not only on the top performers, but also on the portfolio's weakest links.
