Dates to remember – 2015 RRSP Season

To ensure that your clients’ RRSP contributions are applied to 2014, certain dates must be respected.
FOR REGULAR INDIVIDUAL CONTRIBUTIONS
You should receive contributions no later than March 2, 2015, and must forward them to SSQ by March 3, 2015 at the latest. Postmark dates of March 3, 2015, will serve as proof of mailing.
In cases where you do business through an agency, contributions must be received at SSQ offices no later than March 5, 2015 (March 2 plus 3 business days for processing). Please note that documents and cheques must be dated no later than March 2, 2015.
FOR SSQ RRSP LOAN APPLICATIONS
Completed SSQ RRSP loan applications must be received at SSQ offices no later than March 2, 2015.
