New and improved Statement of Investments

We are delighted to announce our new Statement of Investments for individual clients (regular product and ASTRA Guaranteed Income), which will be introduced with the next statement on June 30, 2013.

In addition to the improved layout and presentation, the following is a brief explanation of the improvements we’ve made:

 

 

• The period covered by the statement as of December 31 will be one year (from January 1 to December 31)
  • The transactions section will continue to cover the most recent period of six months.
• Addition of guaranteed amounts
  • On the cover, the total amounts guaranteed are given for all the contracts covered by the statement, including the Guaranteed Interest Account (GIA).
  • The statement now contains a new section, “Your guarantees”, which details the guaranteed amounts and the maturity dates of ASTRA Funds by contract, including the portion of ASTRA Equity GIA invested in funds. Amounts guaranteed upon death and at maturity are shown, including the information about any resets, where applicable.

• Addition of the net invested amount since the effective date of the contract
  • For segregated funds, per contract
  • Shown as a graph for better comparison of the net invested amount with the current value and the guaranteed values.
